wedding day outfit details

Here is the ultimate list of everything Ryan and I wore on our wedding day!

the bride

GETTING READY:

Feather-cuffed pajamas: If you’re on wedding TikTok at all you’ve probably seen these! I wore the white Darcie feather pajamas from Nadine Merabi and loved them. I felt like a little movie star haha.

White fuzzy slippers: I received these as a gift for my bridal shower and can’t find the original link, but if I didn’t receive them as a gift this would have totally slipped my mind when wedding planning! Perfect gift idea for a bridal shower.

CEREMONY:

Wedding dress: My wedding dress was Roux by Louvienne! I got it at Lovely Bride and added boning into the mid-section during alterations to give it a bit more structure. Super comfortable and fun to accessorize!

Detachable sleeves: The real star of the show. I based my whole wedding look around these sleeves because I loved them so much. They’re called the Zoe sleeves by Vagabond and I got these at Lovely Bride as well! I wore them for the ceremony and grand entrance but took them off for dinner for a mini outfit change.

Veil: My cathedral veil was the Arabia by Toni Federici. It doesn’t seem available on his site anymore, but I love the feel of Spanish tulle and loved having the drama of a cathedral veil. Also purchased at Lovely Bride!

Shoes: I wore the Halie pearl shoes from Dolce Vita to keep with the pearl accessories!

Headpiece and earrings: I am OBSESSED with LELET NY and they gifted me this gorgeous headpiece and matching earrings for my wedding day. I wore the Nikki Exes headband and the Tapered Pearl Earrings! I loved how the headband added some delicate details without overpowering the look and fit well with a veil! Use code SYDNEY15 for 15% off at checkout on their site!

Bracelet: My something borrowed! This is my nana’s pearl bracelet she gave to me on my wedding day.

Necklace: I meant to wear a necklace from Gorjana that Ryan gave me as a birthday gift, but I lost it. I was devastated and still am. So I threw on this pearl necklace from Amazon I got for my bachelorette!

RECEPTION:

Reception dress: The iconic Palmier dress from Watters. I saw this dress on TikTok and was hooked. I never really imagined myself as a second dress person but it felt SO nice to take my form-fitted dress off after dinner so I could really let loose on the dancefloor.

Shoes: Most people swap for a flat for dancing, but I did the opposite. Ryan and I are about the same height, so I wore a lower shoe for the ceremony and a higher one for dancing! I switched into the Zalima pearl heels from Dolce Vita.

CEREMONY:

Tux and shoes: Both from Hugo Boss! Ryan had a terrible experience trying to get a custom suit from Indochino, but loved his experience at Hugo Boss! Instead of going full custom, he’d recommend buying close to your size and tailoring it to ensure you like the style, color, etc.

Bowtie: Clip-on bowtie from Dazi because it actually looked more sleek than the regular bowtie to us!
